Rhodes-Wohlfart criterion

According to RhodesWohlfarth’s criterion [DOI: 10.1098/rspa.1963.0086 (1963)], one can distinguish whether the nature of the ferromagnetism is localized or itinerant based on the ratio of qC/qS, where qC and qS are the values for the magneton numbers calculated from the Curie–Weiss constant above TC and the saturation magnetization MS in low temperature, respectively. For the localized FM, MS equals to the fully aligned spin moment, giving qC/qS = 1. While for the itinerant FM, MS is less than the fully aligned spin moment, giving qC/qS > 1. pdf
